L'attitude Modern Eatery, or simply L'attitude as best known to the people of the Historic Pawtuxet Village, is family owned and operated by Dean and Maria Scanlon. Aside from being the restaurant of choice, it also serves as a gathering place for villagers, boaters and tourist alike. L'attitude strives to have something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a cold draught and the ball game in the bar, a local jewel for out of town guests, a place to celebrate your parent's anniversary, a romantic hideaway or you simply don't feel like cooking tonight... L'attitude fits the bill, seven days a week 12:00 pm to 12:00am Sunday through Thursday and 12:00pm to 1:00am Friday and Saturday.

Previously a run down pizza parlor, Dean and Maria opened L'attitude in April, 1999 with a 26 seat capacity in 700 square feet, which included 8 tables a full service bar with 6 stools and a tiny kitchen. Today, L'attitude has evolved into a warm and welcoming gathering place in the heart of this historic village. L'attitude offers full dining services in the lounge that seats 30, including 16 at the bar and the dining room which can seat 50 in an intimate and inviting setting. There is even outdoor seating available in the summer months, so you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery of the village.
